Stationary VSI impact crushers

Sandvik Stationary VSI impact crushers are designed for higher capacity and lower power consumption. The autogenous "rock on rock" crushing technique results in several major advantages: Product gradation remains constant, contamination rates are extremely low, and it has an unbeatable product shape.

Customer feedback has played a vital role in the designs of these VSI crusher machines, ensuring that you get the most productive, efficient, and suitable product available. Choosing a Sandvik VSI crusher ensures you get reliability every time and the support to help when you need it.

CV200 VSI crusher series - Operational flexibility

In the aggregate, mining, and quarrying sectors, Sandvik VSI impact crushers are used for the production of high-quality manufactured sand and premium shaped aggregates. Other areas include rolled compressed concrete (RCC) for dam construction, recycling industries crushing a range of materials, such as concrete, glass, slag, etc.) and industrial minerals plants crushing extremely abrasive high-value materials.

Sandvik Vertical Shaft Impact (VSI) crushers

Throughout our VSI crusher range, we have put the time into what needs to be focused on and what will give you maximum performance when using them. This process ensures we can design VSI crushers that cost less to run and increase profitability. Designed with high capacity and low power consumption in mind, results in a low operational cost per tonne and premium shaped aggregates. Not only is it easy to get to grips with, it is safe and easy to maintain throughout its life. Our vision through all mining and rock excavation products we produce is to make the day to day use as productive as possible while keeping things simple for those that work with them. Overly complicated processes and workflows do not have the desired effect if you want your methods to be efficient. With our decades of expertise, we streamline those processes and improve all aspects of your approach. That’s why those that have used Sandvik equipment know they are getting maximum quality and workmanship every time.

Vertical shaft impact crushers accelerate the material to be crushed through a high energy rotor. This patented design moves the material into a crushing chamber and gives the “rock on rock” (autogenous) crushing action. Sandvik VSI crushers can operate within an open circuit as well as a closed, with product gradation further controlled by the rotational speed of the rotor. It then goes through the Bi-Flow gates into the crushing chamber, going through channels to hit from the opposite direction of where the material is coming from the rotor. This technique ensures efficiency and perfect output every time.

When opting for stationary Sandvik VSI crushers, it provides you with peace of mind that you’re buying from a company committed to achieving 90% circular use of materials and halving our CO2 impact. No matter if you intend to use VSI crushers for cement, manufactured sand, or glass recycling, you’re helping to achieve our vision whilst reducing overall cost for you. The results from using our VSI impact crushers speak for themselves, with 26% fewer wear parts compared to other leading VSI crushers, and up to 50% lower cost per ton when retrofitting Metso/Barmac VSI crushers. The perfect shape of aggregate to your requirements can be achieved due to our unique rotor and Bi-Flow design within Sandvik VSI crushers.
