New Rammer compact range hydraulic hammers for effective Operations

Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions has expanded the Rammer branded hydraulic hammer offering with compact range. Designed with versatility in mind, featuring a customizable body structure and being consistent with high Rammer quality, the three compact models can be adapted to suit various customer needs and applications. The solutions are built to improve the effectiveness of the operations in the field and to ensure optimal cost of ownership.

In its aim to offer a complete range of top-notch excavator attachments, Sandvik has launched new hydraulic hammer models. The new compact range includes three models for 0.6 to 6 ton excavators and has been designed to enhance the hammer performance in multiple applications. Rammer products are known for reliability and have established their position during 45 years on the market.

“The guiding principle for us is to never compromise with quality. That has been the starting point with the new compact range development as well”, says Esa Sjönberg, Product Line Manager. “For us, the durability and long lifetime of the products are important also for sustainability reasons. Rammer is built to last, and the new models can be used very versatilely through the whole lifecycle - thanks to modular body design”, he continues.

The new compact range hammers are designed to ensure the most effective operations. Two hose routing options offer better suitability to hydraulic quick couplers and Constant Blow Energy (CBE) enables fast plug-and-play installations saving time in the field. As high uptime is one of the most critical factors for effective operations and productivity, maintenance should be quick and easy. With membrane accumulator, this is ensured with Rammer compact range models. Compact yet powerful, the new solutions also allow optimized fuel consumption.

“With this launch we can offer the right sized hammer for any job, which means optimized fuel consumption. Rammer products have excellent power-weight ratio and now we can offer the great breaking power also in a compact size”, Esa Sjönberg says. “Durability of the new products is based on uncompromised quality of materials and added with optional wear plates for cast body protection, we can offer a truly long lifetime. Together with the possibility for versatile use, all this translates to optimal return on investment”, he concludes.

“We are committed to offering our customers productive, high-quality solutions, and are now proud to launch the new compact range with three powerful models. We believe sustainability, durability and productivity go hand in hand”, says Elina Pyykkö, President in Attachment Tools Division at Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions.
