New distributor appointed for Sandvik Mobile Crushers and Screens in the Reunion Islands and Mauritius

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Scimat as the new distributor for Sandvik Mobile Crushers and Screens in the Reunion Islands, Mauritius, Mayotte, Seychelles and Comoros Islands. Scimat will be responsible for selling equipment, as well as providing full aftermarket support through the supply of spare parts and local customer service.

The agreement covers both partners incorporated within the Scimat organization; Scime and Scomat. Scime was established in 1996 and is a leading supplier of construction and industrial equipment in the Reunion, Mayotte and Comoros Islands, employing 50 people. Scomat was established in 2004, employs 164 people and covers Mauritius and Seychelles Islands. Scimat offers a one stop shop with the provision of equipment, service, parts and rental and they pride themselves in offering a complete ‘solution’ to their customers rather than just a product.

To complement their current offering, Scimat will now be supplying the comprehensive range of mobile crushing and screening products to their customers. This extensive offering encompasses jaw, impact and cone crushers; scalpers, three-way split screens, the world’s first range of tracked Doublescreens and triple deck screens. Designed for high efficiency, optimum productivity and maximum uptime, all units are user-friendly and easy to transport.

Expanding the global distributor network, Sandvik Mobiles is continually looking to develop into new markets, as well as strengthen its existing sales channels by partnering with expert dealerships across the globe. By carefully selecting the right distributors to sell and support our range of mobile equipment, we can help our customers receive the best possible value from their investment.

Adriano Pezzo, Distributor Manager for Sandvik Mobile Crushers and Screens, says “We are pleased to sign the agreement and welcome Scimat on board as a Mobiles’ distributor. Their industry expertise, local customer knowledge, combined with their strong aftermarket support will open up new market opportunities for us and enable us to further develop the Mobiles’ business in these growing markets.”

“It is a great opportunity and privilege for Scimat to sell the reputable brand of Sandvik mobile crushers and screens. This range of equipment offers great synergies with our current product offering and we look forward to developing a successful working relationship between both parties “ said Olivier Vadon, Scimat Managing Director.

The contract was signed on 20th September. All at Sandvik Mobile Crushers and Screens offer our congratulations on becoming part of the global Sandvik family.
