The tools your team needs to succeed

SAM is divided into five functionality areas. Each area provides a set of features that are designed for the team members responsible for running the daily operations.

The five areas are: fleet overview, inspections, team tools, e-commerce and admin. In each area, you’ll find a specific set of tools that give your team everything they need to optimize and improve their daily work lives.

Functionality areas

  • Fleet overview

    A complete overview of all your equipment – whether it’s connected or non-connected. You can add your non-Sandvik equipment and their details giving you a complete fleet overview. Access Sandvik operator-, maintenance- and installation-manuals and spare parts catalogues, and fleet data.

    Improve business performance by making informed decisions based on accurate, reliable data from your fleet. Features in this functionality area include equipment data and behavior where users can easily track alarms, utilization, load cycles, calibrations, uncrushable objects events as well as power and pressure parameters.

  • Inspections

    Daily and weekly equipment checklists to help your operators identify and document reliability risks, allowing you to take corrective or preventative actions to reduce unplanned downtime and operating costs.

  • Team tools

    Get a full, transparent overview of your team´s data, communications, and actions. The Team Tools functionality area provides one central location for all the communications, information sharing and documentation of your operation.

  • E-commerce

    One central location for parts, order history and parts availability information. The e-commerce functionality area provides a complete web shop filled with parts and consumables that can be ordered by browsing the products or by using the interactive spare parts catalogs. Shopping baskets and shopping lists which can be used as a template for creating reoccurring orders.

  • Administration tools

    Users with administrative rights can use this area to invite new users and set their permissions levels based on their roles within your organization. You can also add your non-Sandvik equipment and its details for a complete fleet overview.
