Longstanding customer Ben Bennett Jr Ltd took delivery of their fifth Sandvik mobile crushing and screening unit for their quarrying operation in Derbyshire in July. These units are used to crush limestone to produce high quality grades of calcium carbonate for a variety of applications, including the pharmaceutical industry, and is commonly used in the manufacture of toothpaste.

Brown and Mason Group Limited, specialists in the demolition sector, were commissioned to demolish Rugeley ‘B’ power station in Staffordshire, United Kingdom. To assist in the recycling of the demolition material Brown and Mason decided to stick with what they know best and purchase a third QJ341 mobile jaw crusher to work alongside the two units they already own. The clearance of this site is for an exciting new development of a low-carbon community.

Sandvik and Steelwrist have entered into a cooperation for full automatic work tool adapters for Rammer hydraulic hammers. As the global demand for fully automatic coupler systems is rapidly increasing, Sandvik will start offering Steelwrist SQ-type adapter plates directly from the factory during the third quarter of 2021. The deliveries from Sandvik will be compliant with the global Open-S standard.
