Sandvik and Steelwrist have entered into a cooperation for full automatic work tool adapters for Rammer hydraulic hammers. As the global demand for fully automatic coupler systems is rapidly increasing, Sandvik will start offering Steelwrist SQ-type adapter plates directly from the factory during the third quarter of 2021. The deliveries from Sandvik will be compliant with the global Open-S standard.

The product offering includes screens, feeders, fine separators, drives and services. The company will be reported in Stationary Crushing and Screening, a division in Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions.

When blasting restrictions in parts of western Thailand interrupted a granite-quarrying operation in 2019, Thai mining company Silasomboonsub found itself in a difficult spot. They had no license to excavate new stone material from the quarry, yet it had over 500,000 tons of blasted rock at the site needing to be processed. It was an opportunity in need of a machine. The choice of machinery for the task? Sandvik UJ310 and UH412 wheeled crushing units.
